aekastar: (gangsinesplosion!)
So, yes, upon edit #1, I have 20 pages left to go. I'm also 200 words from 51k due to the expansion.

I have noticed that tense changes are my worst enemy. one whole section was written in present tense then it went back to past tense which made it horribly confusing. I hope I caught it all since sometimes it is verrry subtle how I switch. such a thing as, "One particular outing, which she had briefly thought about ...they did receive slips of paper." or She walks into the room and sat down.

Sometimes I wonder where my mind wanders when this occurs. sure, my book is about the relativity of time and the illusory world, but that doesn't suddenly mean I can throw out tense changes wherever I please.

Hopefully y'all who want to read the story will let me know if I've missed any. I shall send them out as soon as I finish these last 20 pages.

Beyond that, today just involved getting slightly unnerved as mom and The Guest shouted out things in garbled retard speak. I am not kidding. she is bad enough, but them both together, it is the worst possible thing one could ever hear. at certain points, I wanted to throw something at them and after they were in my room using my dvd player and I heard them start up again, I was plotting murder. I even told someone that my book's ending could be used as evidence to my devious brain. it is good they eventually stopped and no, the dvd didn't work since it was meant to be viewed on the computer, not a regular dvd player. they're silly.

I took to playing Arcade Fire for The Guest. he actually told me that he listened to that mix I tossed at him that other visit and played the new sheep song often. he kept talking about sheep and pencils then mom would say "sheep got PENCIL IN ASS" then I'd say, "no, you're mixing up the songs." though yeah, that would be worse than a tag. The Guest thinks he should play 'Neighborhood #2 (Laika)' for his son at basketball games.. 'C'mon Alex, you can do it!' really, is that what it says? I didn't check the lyrics booklet though I know the name is Alexander at the beginning, so perhaps.

Now, I should go. I promised no more 8am bedtimes. at least this time I woke up at 4pm and there was no sun at that point nonetheless; more rain.
