This song = rock!*
This song = sad**
This song = Caribourific***
This song = trippy****

* Just finished getting the album 'Another Desert, Another Sea' thanks to a friend on soulseek last night and I must say it's rather enjoyable.
** I recently got out this album again last night.. I got it sometime in March though it's from last year. I cannot be on top of things all the time (har). anyhow, while listening on headphones, this song hit me like it hadn't before. perhaps I was just really in a somber mood. I'm not sure.
*** From the Caribou Tour cd which I still haven't finished getting.
**** Finally amazon sent me the album this is on 'Our Bed is Green' (rereleased recently) which I ordered about a month ago! I've listened to it once all the way through, but this song is still the best one; it was the one that made me want to purchase the album after hearing the clip over at Boomkat. the first disc is more noise than I like personally, but disc two is pretty much perfection, so I'll probably listen to that one more often. I was also surprised it was recorded in Houston! hah! in 91-92, I wasn't aware of anything though. more info.

Also, Thee More Shallows (-random unnecessary info- my version of the album still has the old name.. I alphabetised it under 'T' since I was so confused whether it should go under 'M' or 'S'.. ahah) has helped me fall asleep the past few mornings of insomnia. someone told me the guy's vocals sound like sam beam (iron and wine) which I hadn't considered before, but it does a bit at certain points. mom said the first track (as in the one linked) sounds evil like phantom of the opera (bwah):
Where are you Now?
The 8th ring of hell
The perfect map
