This week's find:

I first found them through an article which linked their myspace and I fell in love with 'Low Happening'... of course, it had that instant click, so I do worry if it'll stick after I wear it out. on their site, 'Velvet Girl' can be streamed and after googling, I found one that can be downloaded here.
Earlier in the evening, I finally found the whole album on soulseek and upon first listen, it's certainly not boring. it has this combination of goth country, dance, shoegaze and as chromewaves mentions, a sense of danger.. I'm instantly hooked on the main singer's [Juanita Stein] voice. it reminds me of the leader of another Australian band I used to like in the past which has skipped my mind now (Killing Heidi maybe? been awhile..).
[ETA: Oh! also, semi-reminds me of Lovespirals if anyone knows who they are... hah! like anyone would know Killing Heidi either...]
