np! glad you like it :)
and yeah, that mmj album is great!
I did catch a warning about the discs by their label being bad for computers though so each time I want to use a track, I'll have to download it. ahah. I should just dl a full copy just in case ;D

I, also, have been listening more to the Wolf Parade; during my top album list, I hadn't listened enough, but since I got the album for xmas, it's seen a lot of play. I like some tracks more than 'Modern World', but that's the only one mom could stand and she had the final word on it. the whole thing is great though.. heh.

oh, i thought modern world was a good one. i think it's neat that your mom listens to that stuff. wanna hear what i just burned for my mom for her birthday? get ready for it - it's bruce springsteen's latest (from last year) and that new neil diamond album that's produced by rick rubin. yay!

Well, the start of the yoga mixes is my way to show her she does like some of the stuff I listen to... for the most part, she hates a lot of my music; the weirder stuff. she's more into straight mainstream / pop as shown by the Santana and James Blunt selections she made me put on here :D

It does make me happy when she says she gets really excited to play them (the mixes) for her class. she even made this past morning's class go overtime so she could finish playing the cd. hah!

well, the james blunt one isn't a fave of mine, but i actually enjoyed hearing him play that song on saturday night live a few weeks ago. it was quite nice.
i think it's just adorable that your mom wanted to play the yoga cd in its entirety to her class - shows she really appreciates the hard work that you put into making it for her. i'm going to get to putting a mix up very soon too. chances are though, you will have heard a lot of what's going to be on it. you've got a much broader music spectrum than i have. in fact, it's a lot of stuff that you post that i end up checking out and downloading more of!

Yeah, I must've missed that episode, but mom said she discovered it by watching him on tv, so I suspect that must've been it!

and yay, I look forward to it!
if for nothing else, to see the order / flow of the mix. I like seeing what order the songs are put in; brings a whole new perspective.

Thanks!
The Ester Drang is def. in the top few albums I've heard so far this year. I haven't gotten tired of it yet.

That's fine.
I'll add you back :)
