I'm just a girl with a new haircut*

Today was haircut day... at first, lindsey wasn't sure she was going to get hers done, but had found something in one of the magazines while I was getting mine done (not too much of a cut; more with the layering for her), so we all sat around anticipating once I was done.

Here's some of the photos we took under the cut (I borrowed the shirt from lindsey; I'm not one for sleeveless lately, but was convinced! the pants are mine, but they really are too big. I can't wait to get my cropped stretch ones in the mail soon!):


For those who haven't been around long enough to see what I look like, I'm the one in the reddish top.

We also took some outside of the salon, but those are on lindsey's camera, so I'll have to wait till she's back home to get them from her since the software needed for her camera isn't here.

I'm pretty happy with my haircut; so much so, that I fear playing with it too much. it's nice and styled.


* yes, it's from the only song I could think of about hair. it's an indie song; well, a cover of one.. so the lyrics were changed up to be about a girl!

That, my friend, is hottt. Not just the hair -- the hair is awesome -- but everything -- the face, the eyes, the smile, the style. Those are incredibly good pictures. I don't know why you don't take more.

wow, i love the hair! makes me want to grow out my bangs! you really are adorable.
btw, i love that pavement song. it was really the only pavement song i ever knew, back in the day when a lot of people were listening to pavement.

Yeah, I haven't had bangs since middle school.. they were a bit of a pain to deal with ;D

Can you believe I don't own any Pavement? I've heard some songs from various mixes, but that's it. I should get some soon. I downloaded that Mountain Goats cover the other week from a blog post... it's weird I always download stuff they do lately yet am not a big Mountain Goats fan :D
